I live at Redland Bay, south of Brisbane, and find inspiration in the beautiful bay views and semi-rural landscape of the area. However, from past travels I have a wealth of experience of the different cultures of Europe, Asia, North Africa and North and South America to draw on. This is reflected in my work, which ranges from the muted tones of serene landscapes to bold and colourful abstracts. I work in various medias, oils, acrylics and mixed medias which can include anything to give texture. The essence of my work is to paint what I feel, using various mediums and tools.
I recently completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science degree and am currently studying for a Diploma in Art Therapy, which is all about putting your emotions onto paper or canvas, thereby creating a healing process.
I also teach painting to beginners in the Redlands, I believe that there is an artist within everyone, and love helping people find it!
I have sold paintings throughout Australia and worldwide, and have exhibited in various Redlands shows and the Courier Mail Art Show. I am also a member of Redlands Yurara Art Society.
